Festival in Augusta – Artist’s Choice Voting & People’s Choice Voting & Theme Paint Judging

Welcome Visitors & Artists:Four(4) competitions will be taking place at the Augusta Harmonie Verein:
- “Rivers & Streams” Theme Judging
- “Augusta – 1st American Viticultural Area (AVA)” Theme Judging
- Artists’ Choice Voting
- Peoples’ Choice Voting
The themes chosen for this year celebates the designation of the “1st American Viticultural Area (AVA)” The Augusta AVA was the 1st wine appellation to be federally approved in the United States on June 20, 1980; and “Rivers and Streams”
Judging for the “Rivers & Streams” and the “Augusta AVA” Theme will take place at 11 am.
The 1st place $500 purchase prize for the “Rivers & Streams” is sponsored by Nathan Laupp, MBA Financial Advisor with Ferguson Financial Group.
The 1st place $500 purchase prize for “Augusta AVA” is sponsored by the JoAnn & Mark Milster.
Artist’s Choice judging will be held at The Augusta Harmonie Verein Hall in Augusta at Church St. & Hackman St. The first round of judging will take place at 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. The top paintings will be set aside for a second round of judging starting at 2:15 PM and ending at 3:00 PM.
The semi-finalist winners from Artists’ Choice will be on display for the Peoples’ Choice live voting at the Harmonie from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Online voting for People’s Choice on FaceBook will begin at 4:30 PM and close at 11:00 PM. The Peoples’ Choice winner will be announced at the Final Sale on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11:30 AM.
Art will be on display and available for purchase beginning at noon until 6pm.
